The bird that closes
the Shorts for you.

Piyo is a tiny pixel bird for your Mac. It notices when you have been in Shorts, Reels or TikTok for twenty minutes, asks if you want out — and if you say yes, it flies over and pecks the tab shut. Then it keeps watching the other things you miss: a renewal tomorrow, a restock, a price drop, a package at the door.

drift watch

Twenty minutes go missing.
Piyo notices.

Shorts, Reels, TikTok, the endless feed. Piyo counts how long you have been there and speaks up — gently, once, with a way out. It never closes anything on its own; you press the button.

  • It counts, you decide. “18 min on YouTube Shorts — want me to close it?”
  • One tap and it is gone. The bird flies over and pecks the tab shut.
  • Or five more minutes. Snooze is right there. No lectures, no blocking screens.
  • Set your own line. Warn after 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes.

And the things you would have missed

Every card here is a real bubble from the app, drawn at pixel scale.

Auto-renewal

Before the money leaves

Tomorrow’s renewal, today’s reminder — with the cancel link one click away.

Restock

The sold-out thing is back

The size, the color, the console. Piyo says it while there are still twelve left.

Price drop

It finally got cheaper

The flight, the headphones, the thing that has been in your cart since March.

usage at a glance

How much is left
in every agent

Opus, Sonnet, Codex, Gemini, Cursor, Windsurf — each one keeps its own meter, and none of them warn you until it is over. Piyo puts them in a single bubble, longest bar to shortest, with the reset time underneath.

  • One bar per agent. Red before you run out, not after.
  • Context, 5-hour and weekly are separate. They always were; now you can see it.
  • Switch model from the bubble. One tap, no settings page.
  • Resets are shown. “Opus resets in 1h 24m.”

also, if you write code

Piyo watches your AI agents too

Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok Build, Cursor and Windsurf. It says when one finishes, when one is waiting on you, and when one quietly died.

Who is waiting for you

Two agents need an answer, three are still working — longest wait first.

When one dies quietly

Rate limit, expired auth, dropped stream. It stopped eight minutes ago.

Questions

Is Piyo out yet?

Not yet. The macOS app is in private testing. Join the waiting list and you get one email when it opens — nothing else.

What counts as drift content?

YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, the X feed and Reddit browsing. Piyo reads only the address of the tab you are looking at, and only to time it — nothing is uploaded.

Does it close things by itself?

No. It asks first, every time, and the snooze button is right next to the close button. Nothing is closed unless you press it.

What else can it watch?

Subscriptions and free trials, restocks and ticket drops, price changes, deliveries and your door camera, and the weather. If you write code, it also watches Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and Windsurf.

Is it noisy?

It speaks only when something changes, and every bubble has a close button. No full-screen takeover, no badge counts.

Does it need special permissions?

Only for the party trick where Piyo flies over and closes a browser tab for you. Every notification, bar and button works without it.

Will it cost anything?

Pricing is not decided yet. The waiting list gets first access, and the launch price before anyone else.

Windows?

Mac first. Windows comes after the Mac build is stable — the same bird, the same bubbles.
